This journey began with a simple question: what exactly am I putting on my skin?
After leaving the service and settling in Saint Augustine, Florida, life slowed down in the best way. Being in a place filled with history and nature changed the way I looked at everyday things, especially the products I used.
What started as curiosity quickly turned into a small personal project. I began experimenting with goat milk soap, making bars for myself and my family. The goal was simple: create something clean, gentle, and made with ingredients I could actually recognize.
Before long, friends started asking for their own bars. Then their friends did too. What began in a small kitchen slowly turned into Spice Wood Soaps.

We use nature's most precious elements and nothing more.

From small family farms to wildcrafted botanicals to ethically...

Handcrafted with love in sunny southern California.

If you're not 100% satisfied, we’ll give you your money back.
We do everything the old fashioned way, cold process. Every batch gets mixed by hand, poured into wooden molds, hand cut, and then left to cure for at least six weeks. Yeah, six weeks. It takes patience, but that’s what makes the bars last longer and lather better. No shortcuts.
Everything is small batch because that’s the only way to make sure the quality stays where it needs to be. This isn’t a factory operation. It’s me, in my workshop, making sure every bar is something I’d be proud to hand to someone.
Being veteran owned means something to me. The discipline, the attention to detail, the refusal to cut corners, that all carried over. I take pride in what I make, and I stand behind every product. If you’re not happy, I want to know about it.
We’re a small operation out of Saint Augustine, and that’s by design. We’d rather make less and make it right than scale up and lose what makes this special. Thanks for checking us out, I hope you give us a try.
